B Corp Month - Our Favourite B Corp Brands
This March, we are celebrating B Corp month! For the whole month we will celebrate all things B Corp, from what it means to be a B Corp business, what we have done to achieve B Corp status, and other B Corp brands that we are loving this month.
The B Corp movement began back in 2007 and today there are over 8,000 Certified B Corporations in more than 90 countries and over 150 industries globally. B Corp brands offer a simple way to tell if a business is balancing profit and purpose.
So, what is B Corp?
It’s a third-party certification for businesses that meet certain ethical and sustainable criteria. For brands to receive B Corp certification, the must take the B Impact Assessment which asks a range of questions across five impact areas, these are Governance, Community, Environment, Workers, and Customers. The B Corp certification is a great way to identify a brand that is serious about protecting the planet – like us!
